DBJS is an OHIP-funded integrated Musculoskeletal Centre which provides comprehensive care for shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, foot and ankle conditions. All patients are provided with a consultation in under 3 weeks with the most appropriate sub-speciality Orthopaedic Surgeon. Our goal is to provide access to MSK care including conservative non-surgical treatments (injections, bracing, arthritis and pain management, referral for physiotherapy) and surgical treatments including ligament tears/injuries, joint replacements (hip/knee/shoulder) and fractures). Only a referral and X-ray is required to be seen at DBJS.
